My Puppet In The Closet
Through Alexis Trepannier's summer dance choreographic workshop, "Nous Sommes l'Été " I was able to choreograph on five dancers, Alexis Trepannier, Tiffanie Boffa, Anne Flore Rochembeau, Laura Toma, and Léa Trembley. My source of departure was a sheet of questions where, intimately, we confessed our personal weaknesses, strengths and memories. I created personal solos from each of the dancers answers based on a childhood memory they deeply connected with. We played with spoken word combined with personal improvisations in space.
